Kurt Cobain's House And Death Site

The late "Nirvana" member, and his wife Courtney Love, bought this house by Lake Washington in 1994 shortly before Cobain died. The greenhouse where his body was found on April 8 was torn down months later. Love sold the property in 1997 for $2.9 Million.

The estate was put up for sale in 2019 for $7.5 Million and was sold in 2020 for $7 Million.

A bench in Viretta Park, just south of the house, is now host to a makeshift shrine to him.
