Lila Kommerstad's House

The philanthropist and widow of Provident Investment Counsel founder Robert Kommerstad owns this Bradbury Estates horse ranch. At its peak in the 1990s, PIC (now known as 300 North Capital) managed nearly $15 billion in capital. Robert Kommerstad sold the firm in 1994 to United Asset Management for an estimated $315 million.

Kommerstad and her late husband have donated millions of dollars to various schools and charities across the country. Her daughter Carol's Montecito mansion is also featured on this site.
