The former CEO, chairman, and president of Wackenhut owns this home. Wackenhut is a private security and investigation firm operated in 54 countries and had $2.8 billion in revenue.
The company has supplied complete police services at the Tampa Airport and pre-departure security at several other airports as well as: security for courthouses in Texas and Florida; armed patrols for the Miami Downtown Development Authority; guards to ride the Miami Metro Rail and the Tri-Rail from West Palm Beach to Dade County.
In addition to security, the company also provides fire and rescue services for some clients, including the Kennedy Space Center.
