The multi-billionaire private equity guru (and Detroit Pistons owner) is expanding his Malibu holdings. He quietly purchased this oceanfront house in August 2014 for exactly $20M. His much larger main residence is right next door.

Gores' Malibu property cost him a total of more than $42 million, making it one of the most expensive compounds in the city. Many of his other properties are also featured on this site.
