Mr. Rifkin oversaw the overall acquisitions and asset management activities of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, Inc. ("RECP").
Mr. Rifkin has been a Senior Member of RECP since its inception in 1995 and has been responsible for many of the successful investments in the RECP Funds.
Prior to joining RECP, Mr. Rifkin was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. ("Goldman") in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area, where his responsibilities included asset management for various Whitehall portfolios.
Mr. Rifkin was a Recipient of Goldman’s 1992 Innovation Award as a Member of the Whitehall team that created and negotiated the original joint venture relationship between Goldman and the J.E. Robert Companies. Mr. Rifkin graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a B.S. degree in Mathematics and received an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
He lives in Manhattan. He bought the home for $6,000,000 in 2001.
