Charles Grace attended Columbia University where he earned his MBA.
He was passionate about charity, education, and the betterment of society. He co-founded (with Col. James Gray) The International Fund for Monuments (now, The World Monuments Fund). He also co-founded (with George Wagner) The California League of Conservation Voters which successfully championed a ban to protect the California coast from offshore drilling.
