Bryan James "Chas" Handler was the bass player in the legendary English band The Animals (The House of the Rising Sun).
He was also a known producer for the English glam rock band Slade and for Jimi Hendrix. It was Chas Chandler who made the name for Jimi's band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
