The 1970s house has not been knocked down. It's has been remodeled quite a bit but still stands at 615 Idlewyld Dr. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Some websites erroneously have it as 637 Idlewyld and that house has in fact been torn down and replaced with a mansion. So the home lives. Maybe one day I'll get rich and buy it.

Love this place. It keeps my childhood, though my home was 1000 miles away, in Sukhumi, Georgia, Black Sea)) Cheers! Zviad from Sukhumi

This is the second house on the film (8 years later). As far as I know, it has not been knocked down. It is directly SW of Hollywood Blvd Bridge, right next to the approach for the bridge. The first (and last) house in the film is in Fort Lauderdale. It is also still standing.
