J. Howard Starr Rink (Birds Eye)
J. Howard Starr Rink opened on December 11, 1959. The 2600 seat arena is the home of the Colgate University hockey teams and is named after the school's hockey coach from 1932-50.

The rink and locker room were seen in the 1977 film "Slap Shot", starring Paul Newman. It was filmed for the game between the Charlestown Chiefs and the Lancaster Gears. The memorable scene in which the Hanson brothers are "putting on the foil" was filmed here.
