John co-founded Inventus and has been guiding early-stage companies as an active venture investor for the past decade.

Prior to Inventus, John led venture investments for nine years at Bank of America Venture Partners (recently renamed Scale Venture Partners). He focuses on internet infrastructure and consumer technology investments and has backed entrepreneurs in 14 companies resulting in 9 liquidity events including two IPOs to date. John and Kanwal have co-invested together in many start-ups since 1998, most recently along with Samir in Kaboodle, and along with USVP in Instantis.
