The late Lee Herbst Gruhn was an actress, singer, and artist.
Not much is known about the Herbst family, who were major donors to the San Francisco arts community, lending their name to the Herbst Theater, formerly the Veterans Auditorium.
The home is currently owned by Ken McNeeley, president of AT&T California.
