He is the former CEO of Timberland, the apparel company.
Swartz served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Timberland Co. from June 1986 to June 1998. Mr. Swartz served as Chairman of the Board of Timberland Co. and also its subsidiary Timberland SAS (known as Timberland France) since June 1986 until September 13, 2011 and Director since 1978 until September 13, 2011.
He bought the home from architect Greg Crockett for $5.3M in 2011.
He lives in Brookline, Ma.
