The BBC television drama series "Domino Day" was filmed on location in Manchester and the TAKK outlet on Tariff Street in the Northern Quarter was transformed into BYOM coffee shop where the central character works as a barista.
The Manchester Evening News newspaper and website had an article on 31 January 2024 identifying many of the Manchester locations which viewers will be able to see in the series.
TAKK which is an independent coffee company has three outlets in Manchester.
