Singer Amy Winehouse died form alcohol poisoning at her home in Camden, London on July 23rd 2011. She purchased this semi detached, four-story Victorian home in March 2010. After her death, her family put the house up for sale in 2012 for £2.7 Million, but the agents took it off the market after they were inundated with requests from fans who wanted to view it. The singer and songwriter's father Mitch ended up reducing the price, and it finally sold at auction for £1.98 Million in December 2012 to City entrepreneur and vineyard owner Richard Balfour-Lynn, the one time owner of the Malmaison hotel chain, and his wife Leslie.

Lynn sold the house in an off market deal for £3.5 Million in 2020 to Ben Tansey who is an investment analyst and a homelessness campaigner.
