Saul is a billionaire real estate investor and former banker. He is the Chairman/CEO of publicly traded Saul Centers, which operates a real estate portfolio of 9.5 million square feet, primarily shopping centers in metropolitan Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. He got his start with Chevy Chase Bank, which he founded in 1969 and operated out of a trailer on Connecticut Avenue. He sold the bank to Capital One in 2009 for $476 million but kept Chevy Chase Trust, which services high-net-worth clients.

Forbes estimates his net worth at $1.2 billion.
