This house used to be owned by John F. Mayer, the former chief executive officer, president, director, chairman of the Board of Great Western Bank, chief executive officer of Great Western Bank, president of Great Western Bank and director of Great Western Bank, Great Western Financial Corp.

Great Western was sold in 1998 to WaMu for $6.8 Billion.

In 2017, it was reported that the house was bought in February of that year by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen for $14,800,000.
