The retired Olympic swimmer, Michael Phelps, is rumored to have recently sold this beautiful Arizona property for $4.1 Million. The most successful and most decorated Olympian of all time, Phelps has won 23 gold medals and has several world records to his name. Phelps, since retired now lives with his wife, Nicole Johnson, and their two sons. Perhaps the fastest man in water, this pool shark also has great taste in homes.

Phelps made his Olympic debut at age 15 in Sydney. Though he didn’t medal in his first appearance he has crushed the competition every subsequent appearance, winning 8 in Athens, 8 in Beijing, six in London, and six in Rio. In total he has earned 28 Medals, 23 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze. Phelps also currently holds seven world records, and remains one of the greatest Olympic swimmers of all time.

In 2014 Phelps caught the public’s ire after a photo of him using cannabis surfaced. After losing sponsors, and being suspended Phelps admitted to the photo and apologized. While seemingly clean since, Phelps was also arrested in 2014 for speeding and driving under the influence, the second such charge on his record.

This stunning 6,010 square foot property was sold by the swimmer, and had all the amenities including of course, a swimming pool. Luxurious with four fireplaces, a 350 bottle wine room, ship lap walls and a sports room, this house was built shortly before the family moved in 2015. The backyard boasts a fantastic view of Camelback Mountain.

The couple has since moved into a 10,000 square foot home not too far from this property. Likely a needed upgrade as their family grows.

This legendary athlete, known for being perhaps the greatest swimmer of our generation has earned a net worth of $60 Million. Having since retired as a swimmer, Phelps now focuses on his family life, his new career as a coach, and his mental health. Returning to a normal life after the thrill of being the world’s premier athlete has been an adjustment for him, though he is likely to always have the support of his fans.
