Carter Page's House

Carter Page is an oil industry consultant who Donald Trump named him as a foreign policy advisor to his presidential campaign, which campaign staffers later denied.

Page is one of a number of Trump administration officials who have been found to have definitively met with Russian nationals despite repeated denials. In February 2017 Page stated that he had had not met with Russian officials in 2016 but two days later he appeared to contradict himself and stated that he did not deny news reports that he met with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio in the same year. Former British Intelligence operative Christopher Steele, who authored the, now famous, Trump Dossier, revealed that Page repeatedly met with Russian spys and handed off sensitive information pertaining to the energy industry, which Page later admitted to.
