Edson Bradley was president of W.A. Gaines and Company of Frankfort, Kentucky.
In 1923, he dismantled his home located on the south side of DuPont Circle in Washington D.C., and reassembled it in Newport, Rhode Island. It is currently known as Carey Mansion.
