Hector K. Collison was a cardiologist. He was killed, along with his 15-year old son in a 2008 single-engine plane crash in Pennsylvania. He left his wife with this unfinished mansion.

Mr. Collison's plane crash took place in northwestern Virginia, not Pennsylvania. Mr. Collison himself, an inexperienced pilot flying out of an unfamiliar airport late at night, was at the controls and crashed into a mountain.

He was an orthopedic surgeon and Trauma doctor, and he did indeed crash into a mountain in Western, Pa. - Bank foreclosed on the unfinished mansion
