This is the former 42-acre oceanfront estate ("Fordune") of the president of the Ford Motor Company from 1945 to 1960 and CEO from 1960 to 1979. He was the son of Edsel Ford and grandson of Henry Ford. In 2009, it will cost you $600K to lease it from August through Labor Day, and if you throw in July, that's an extra $400K. The 12-bed, 12-bath, 33,000 sq ft renovated mansion has a game room, library, large formal dining room, staff quarters and a commercial kitchen. The extensive grounds contain a 60 ft pool with jacuzzi, tennis court, 3 ponds and 1,000+ ft of beachfront.

If you zoom out 3 clicks and look at the piece of land it sits on, you can see they had it shaped to look like the Lower 48, US of A. Road comes in through FL, Texas touches land at its southernmost tip...clearly, the Pacific coastline is purposely shaped, etc.
Little bit pompous, eh?
