John McEuen's House

The folk musician and entertainer lives here. He is a founding member of "The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band", one of the most venerable and well-known folk-rock groups of all time. He played with the band from 1966 to 1986, and returned in 2001. He purchased the 3-bed, 3-bath, 2,597 sq ft home in August of 1999 for $631K, according to public records. According to his blog, in late 2009 he and his wife consider themselves New Yorkers now, so this home may be on the market very soon.
