John Salley is an American former professional basketball player. He was the first player in NBA history to win championships with three franchises (since joined by Robert Horry, Danny Green, and LeBron James), as well as the first player in the NBA to win a championship in three different decades (since joined by Tim Duncan).

The home was originally owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit and home to Catholic Bishop Michael Gallagher. It was owned by Sallely from 1989-1995, who sold it to Bishop Wayne T. Jackson of Great Faith Ministries International and president and founder of the Impact Network, the largest African-American Christian television network in the country, who then sold the landmark property to a California investor for more than $2.5 million in 2017.

The 32,500 sqft home is currently on the market for $6,999,999.
