Former German soccer player and Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge’s house is in Grünwald, Germany near Munich.

Rummenigge’s net worth is $275 million. He played professional soccer from 1974-1989, primarily for Bayern Munich. As a player for Bayern Munich, he won the Intercontinental Cup, two European Cups, two Bundesliga titles and two domestic cups. He twice won the prestigious Ballon d’Or for European Footballer of the Year. He was made a vice president of the club in 1991 along with his former teammate Franz Beckenbauer. In 2002, he was named Chairman of Executive Board remained with the club until he was replaced by Oliver Kahn as chief executive on July 1, 2021. Bayern Munich moved into their 70,000-person stadium, Allianz Arena, under Rummenigge’s leadership.

Rummenigge also played for the West German national team, winning the European Championship in 1980, and finishing as the runner-up in the 1982 and 1986 World Cups.

Rummenigge was born in Lippstadt, Germany and joined Bayern Munich in 1974. He broke out as an elite goal-scorer after the arrival of coach Pal Csernai in 1979, leading the Bundesliga in goals in 1980, 1981, and 1984. In 1984, at the age of 29, he was transferred to Inter Milan for a then-record fee of €5.7 million. He played three injury-riddled seasons for Inter Milan before joining Swiss club Servette for the final two seasons of his playing career.

Rummenigge has also worked as a broadcaster, commentating matches for the German national team from 1990-1994.
