Melvin "Mel" Simon, who founded Simon Property Group Inc., the nation's largest mall owner, and co-owned basketball's Indiana Pacers, lived here until his death of cancer in September 2009.
His wife, Bren, sold the house in 2016 to art collector Robert H. Blumenfield. The sale price was $34,928,500.
