Niemitz is an architect; his firm, Niemitz Design Group, specializes in restaurant design – the Westin Copley Place, Grill 23, and Top of the Hub are among his high-profile Boston projects. Gaucher is a furniture, lighting, and interior designer who heads Icon Group, a to-the-trade showroom in the Boston Design Center, and Coast, a retail shop in Beverly Farms.
