Robert Harling's House

Robert Harling is an American writer, producer and film director of fims including Steel Magnolias, Soap Dish, and The First Wives Club.

Harling owns this property, Oaklawn Plantation, which was built between 1830 and 1840 using slave labor. At the time of his death, the original owner, Achille Prudhomme had over 100 slaves living on his planation.
