Theo Albrecht († 2010) and his brother, Karl, are the founders of ALDI, one of the world's largest grocery store chain. At the time of his death, Forbes ranked him as the third-richest German and the 31st richest person in the world, with an assessed wealth of $16.7 billion. Theo was also the owner of Trader Joe's.
The Albrecht brothers have been described as "more elusive than the Yeti", and you won't find many personal informations about them (the last photo dates from 1987). Therefore, it's very hard to tell for how long Theo lived here, or anything about other homes he may have owned.
