Château Louis XIV - Prince Mohammed bin Salman's House

The Château Louis XIV is a château constructed between 2008 and 2011 in the commune of Louveciennes in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region. Although it is a new construction, the Château Louis XIV meets the exact standards and rules of proportions and ornamentation established from Antiquity as they were regularly applied during the 17th century.

Built and formerly owned by Saudi businessman, Emad Khashoggi, he sold the estate in late 2015 for a reported $301million (£200million), making it the most expensive residential property ever sold. The buyer has been revealed to be Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman. On 16 November 2018, the CIA had concluded Prince Mohammad bin Salman had ordered the brutal assassination of American journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, the cousin of Emad Khashoggi.
