William Joseph "Bill" Bell Jr. and Maria Arena Bell's house

In architecture books, this house is known as the Sol Wurtzel residence, named after Solomon Max "Sol" Wurtzel, who built it. The house, inspired by Villa Giulia in Rome, was designed by the famous architect Wallace Neff.

Elvis Presley rented this home from November 1961 to January 1963.

It is now owned by William Joseph "Bill" Bell Jr. and his wife, Maria Arena Bell, members of the powerful Bell television dynasty, which is known for its daytime soap operas. Bill Bell Jr. is the son of William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell.
