Kathy Nelson is an American music executive. In 2001, she was named President of Film Music for Universal Pictures and Universal Music Group, becoming the first executive to oversee music in both areas at major entertainment companies.
Nelson is also the niece of bandleader/TV actor Ozzie Nelson and singer Harriet Hilliard and cousin of both the late actor David Nelson and the late singer Ricky Nelson.
