Dr. Mark Reiner's house

Dr. Mark Reiner is a Professor of Surgery and a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He is a general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy) for both benign and malignant diseases. He has a keen interest in robotic surgery and the repair of inguinal and abdominal wall hernias. He is nationally and internationally recognized as an expert in minimally invasive surgery and is one of the leaders in the field of minimally invasive hernia repair.

He has been recognized on a local, national, and international level numerous times in magazines and newspapers including New York Magazine and Castle Connolly as one of the leading surgeons in his field.

Dr. Reiner was one of the first in the country to perform and develop surgical techniques in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy).

Dr. Reiner has two sons he is extremely proud of and likes to spend his free time in a variety of athletic endeavors but is most relaxed when on a tractor at his farm in Litchfield, Connecticut. He enjoys repairing and restoring old cars, building furniture from wood and making objects of art from metals.
