This is the former home of terrorist mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki, who was later killed in Yemen in a drone strike. At the time of his residency here, he was the imam for the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church. al-Awlaki was well known in Falls Church and his former home in San Diego as a frequent customer of local "escort" agencies.
