John Du Pont was heir to the Du Pont family fortune. He was an author and wrestling coach.
He was played by Steve Carell in the 2014 film, Foxcatcher, which told the story of his 1996 murder of Olympis wrestler, Dave Schultz, portrayed in the film by Channing Tatum.
**The entire farm has since been destroyed in preparation for construction on a new community to be built by Toll Brothers.
