Max Brooks is an American actor and author. He is the son of comedy filmmaker Mel Brooks and actress Anne Bancroft. Much of Brooks's writing focuses on zombie stories. He is a lecturer at the Modern War Institute at West Point, New York.
His best known works are The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, the latter of which was turned into a 2013 film, starring Brad Pitt.
