The Knutsford Public Library is on Toft Road in the town.
The library is provided by Cheshire East Council the local authority for the town of Knutsford. The library offers books, internet access, a local studies collection with microfilm and maps and much more.
The library hosts the Tunnicliff Collection – a collection of books an ephemera about local author and illustrator C F Tunnicliffe and Professors A Stanton Whitfield’s collection or works about Elizabeth Gaskell the famous novelist who once lived in the town.
