Childhood home of Mexican/American singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez in Lake Jackson, Texas. Selena was born on April 6th, 1971 to Abraham and Marcella Quintanilla.
She died on March 31st, 1995 when Yolanda Saldivar, her Fan club president, store manager and best friend took out a revolver from her handbag and shot the singer in the back in room #158 (Now room #150) at the Days Inn Hotel (Later renamed Knights Inn) in Corpus Christi, Texas (Check out the link below)
