Song Kol Ordo Yurt Camp (StreetView)
A Yurt is as a traditional Central Asian nomad’s tentlike dwelling which is also known as a Mongol ‘Ger’.

Traditionally a Yurt has a wooden frame which is covered with animal skins, felt or brightly coloured handwoven textiles.

Inside the Yurt would have been simply furnished, often with red coloured rugs predominating, with stylised animal patterns and geometric designs.
