Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi bought this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, Studio City pad for $2.5 million in November of 2018, and moved in from the house next-door in May of 2019 for which he previously paid $8,800/mo. After the swift divorce from his ex-wife, producer Chelsea Winstanley, Taika and his ex-PA/ex-girlfriend Polly Stoker moved into Gerard Butler's Los Feliz villa at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in March of 2020 for which he paid $17,500/mo until September 2020. Landlord Waititi leased his own Studio City property at $12,000/mo while he filmed Thor 4 in Sydney.
SOLD for $2.73M in Feb 2021. It seems Taika Waititi' s ex-wife, Chelsea Winstanley, decided to make the move back their home country of New Zealand. The separated couple made a profit of $230,000 on the sale of their family home. Waititi now spends his time between his new Hollywood pad with current girlfriend/singer Rita Ora, and his New Zealand beach-view home in the celeb-rich enclave of Auckland's West coast, which records show Waititi has owned since early 2015.
