W. Somerset Maugham was a British playwright and novelist who was one of the highest paid authors int he 1930s.

Maugham moved to this home in July 1905 with his partner Harry Philips, since at the time, Capri was a popular gay and lesbian vacation retreat.

Villa Valentino is currently available as a vacation home, offering views of the famous faragolini rock formations and the Gulf of Naples.
