Akram Ojjeh was a Syria-born Saudi business magnate, arms dealer and art collector. He was the founder of TAG, an international conglomerate of aviation firms, hotels, construction firms and electronics companies which is today run by his sons, among them well-known Mansour Ojjeh.

Ojjeh purchased the Hôtel Bischoffsheim, a 32,000 sqft city palais, in the 1970s and owned it until his death in 1991. His widow, Nahed Ojjeh, sold it around 2003 to crystal-maker, Baccarat.
