Antoine Fuqua is an American film director, producer and actor. He was originally known for directing music videos for Toni Braxton, Coolio, Stevie Wonder and Prince including the music video for "Gangsta's Paradise" (1995). He started his film career in 1998 and earned a name in Hollywood after directing the 2001 crime thriller Training Day.

Fuqua has made action, crime, thriller, and drama films as well as documentaries, including Shooter, Brooklyn's Finest, the Equalizer films, Southpaw, the remake of The Magnificent Seven, Olympus Has Fallen, as well as the critically acclaimed documentary What's My Name: Muhammad Ali.
