Last October [2008], the production company for the movie, “The Joneses,” looked in the Alpharetta area for a house to rent for an “A-list” movie star who had a lead role in the film. They saw a home for sale online, paid a visit and immediately fell in love. Who was the star that wanted the place? Demi Moore, who had a lead role in the film along with David Duchovny.

Moore came to see the house and took an immediate liking to it — especially to the owner’s cat, Tom, who Moore asked to remain at the house while she, her assistant and chef stayed for five weeks. To add to the home’s star lustre, Moore’s husband, Ashton Kutcher, visited to celebrate her 46th birthday.
