Mandich is a former professional American football tight end with the Miami Dolphins. He was an All-American at the University of Michigan. In 2004 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Jim Mandich is currently a radio sports talk-show host, afternoons between 4-7pm, on 560 WQAM. He also does color-commentary on Miami Dolphins radio broadcasts.
He also owns an equestrian property in nearby Loxahatchee.
