John Glenn's House (Former)

John Glenn was an American astronaut and United States Senator from the State of Ohio.

In 1962, Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth. In 1998, he became the oldest person to fly in space, at age 77, flying as the Payload Specialist on board Space Shuttle Discovery.

Glenn lived in this home around the time he was chosen for the Mercury-Atlas 6 mission in 1962.
