Movie star and sex symbol, Lana Turner, and her first husband, clarinetist and bandleader Artie Shaw, lived in a ranch style house in Beverly Hills during their 6 month long marriage in 1940.

The home's last owner was movie producer, Henry Winterstern who bought the property in 2012 for $2.9 million, later purchasing an adjacent lot as well. Winterstern demolished the ranch style house and spent 7 years building this 6 bedroom, 9 bathroom, 21,000 square feet modern mega mansion which was designed by architect Troy Adams. Winterstern listed the estate for sale in September 2020 for $46.5 million and sold it in March 2023 for $47.5 million.
