Madelyn Pugh was a television writer who became known in the 1950s for her work on the I Love Lucy television series.
Pugh helped create the 'Lucy' character which Lucille Ball played for over 40 years in I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy, The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, and Life with Lucy.
