Site of Gary Neville's Underground Eco House

Gary Neville is an English former footballer. He is England's most capped right-back and was Manchester United's club captain for five years.

Neville has been granted permission (albeit with a number of roadblocks which altered the original plans) to build the first zero-carbon property in the North West of England. The eco-house will generate its’ own on-site renewable energy through a ground source heat pump, and photovoltaic panels, and will consume less energy than it generates. Original plans for a wind turbine have been scrapped following numerious protests from neighbors.
