Theodore "Ted" Mathas' House

Mr. Theodore Alexander Mathas, also known as Ted, J.D. has been the President and Chief Executive Officer at New York Life Insurance Co. since July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008 respectively and its Chairman since June 1, 2009.

Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Mathas was an Attorney with the international law firm of Debevoise and Plimpton.

Mr. Mathas graduated with an A.B. from Stanford University, with distinction, in 1989, and received a J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1992.
