Summer is in full swing, and we’re starting to get out of our homes more, which makes celebrating birthdays even more exciting than ever. But some celebrities have such amazing houses, they want to celebrate their special day at home.

Let’s see who is having a birthday this month, and where they might be singing Happy Birthday!

Anderson Cooper

Anderson Cooper has become a celebrity newsman working for CNN and CBS, and became a first time dad in April. On June 3, he is turning 53, and he’s likely to have his best year yet!

This independent minded anchorman actually bought an old fire station in 2010 and turned it into an amazing five story home in Greenwich Village, New York. He paid $4.3 million in 2010, and has renovated it to incorporate a turn of the century feel while including amazing modern decor and features. It’s a great place for Anderson to celebrate with loved ones even when he’s working hard on keeping Americans informed about important news every night.

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg started out as a rapper, but he’s become one of Hollywood’s most successful actors, both financially and critically, over the last twenty years. He’s even a part owner of his family burger chain. He’s turning 49 on June 5, and hopefully Mark takes a moment to celebrate his birthday with loved ones.

His Beverly Hills mansion is so epic, there’s no reason to celebrate anywhere else. The 30,000 square foot house sits on a 6.14 acre lot, has 11 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, wine cellar, movie theater, and library. There’s also a massive pool, basketball court, and even a putting green! There’s no need to travel when you have such a wonderful place right at home!

Kanye West

Rapper, designer and sometimes Christian preacher Kanye West is turning 43 on June 8. Wherever he is on his birthday, his celebration is sure to be epic because Kanye does everything to the max!

He and his wife Kim Kardashian West and their four kids live in a massive estate in LA that he describes as a “futuristic Belgian monastery”. The couple paid around $20 million for the estate after their first baby, and have remodeled, expanded and decorated it to fit Kanye’s unique style. It is now reportedly worth $60 million. If you owned a place like that, you’d certainly want to celebrate your birthday there!

Neil Patrick Harris

Neil Patrick Harris has grown up in front of the camera, so we should all wish him an especially happy birthday on June 15. The television, movie and theater actor is turning 47.

He and his husband have two kids that they raise in their amazing brownstone in New York City. The townhouse set them back $4 million, but with 8,000 square feet in the city, that’s a great deal! The family loves to go all-out for holidays big and small, so it’s a no-brainer that they’ll celebrate NPH’s birthday in a big way!

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman has been in Hollywood for decades, and in recent years she’s seemed to find a true and lasting peace with her country music star Keith Urban. The couple actually spends more of their time in Nashville, TN than Hollywood.

They have a lovely mansion that they bought in 2008 for $3.5 million. It includes a pool and tennis court, and beautiful landscaping in addition to 11,000 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms and more. This is the perfect place to snuggle up with her husband and two girls on June 20 when she celebrates her birthday.

Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep is Hollywood royalty if anyone is. She has been nominated for a record 21 Academy Awards, winning three. And she’s been nominated for countless other awards.

Despite her international fame and respect, Meryl works hard to live a normal life, including maintaining her primary residence outside New York, in Connecticut. Maybe she’ll celebrate her 71st birthday on June 22 in this lovely home. Hopefully her four kids will be able to celebrate with her, or at least give their mom a call to say happy birthday!

May starts off with a bang for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who celebrates his birthday on May 2.

This year, the wrestler turned actor is turning 48, and his career is as hot as ever. Whether it’s acting or wrestling, or being a dad, Dwayne seems to be the best. He’s considered one of the all-time best wrestlers, is one of Hollywood’s top grossing actors of all time, and is dad to three children.

Dwayne recently bought an amazing estate in Powder Springs, Georgia, for $9.5 million. It has an eight-bedroom main house, a custom wine cellar, and amazing outdoor pool. This would be an amazing place to celebrate a birthday.

George Clooney

Hollywood’s favorite leading man turns 59 on May 6, and if he’s lucky, he’ll be celebrating with his lovely wife Amal and their twins, Ella and Alexander. The family is often set up near London to support Amal’s career as an attorney.

They may celebrate George’s birthday in the Mill House, a 17th century mansion that they bought for $10 million.

They may also spend it in their Lake Como home in Italy, where the family likes to spend their summers. George bought the home in 2001 for about $6 million. The home has 15 bedrooms, a boat dock, and a special room devoted to the family’s weekly pizza nights.

No matter where in the world George is, he’s sure to have an amazing birthday surrounded by loved ones.

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett, one of Hollywood’s most successful Australian actors, turns 51 on May 14. The international star could spend her birthday She bought a gorgeous famous with lots of history in England, in 2015.

She dropped about $6.5 million on Highwell House, a seven bedroom country manor once owned by Sherlock author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. With five, count them five, reception rooms, there’s certainly enough place to throw a fun birthday party and make sure Cate feels very special on her birthday.

Bono

One of the world’s most influential, and talented, men, Bono still gets older every year just like the rest of us. On May 10, he’s turning 60 years old! The rock star philanthropist could celebrate anywhere in the world, but there’s a good chance he’s spending the day at his home in Killiney, Ireland, which isn’t a bad place to be at all. The area is basically the Hollywood of Ireland, and Bono is just one of many celebrities who live there.

The gate to Bono’s house itself has become a tourist destination. Visitors write lyrics or messages on the copper gate, in English and many other languages.

Bono loves to celebrate anniversaries and other events in his elaborate mansion in Nice, France. The beachfront home has six bedrooms and a very open feel, a great place to relax and not thing about getting older.

There’s also a chance he’ll be celebrating in New York City, because his children have spent more time there in recent years. He bought a duplex from Steve Jobs in 2005 for $14.5 million, in the very posh San Remo building on the Upper West Side.

No matter where he is, a heartfelt and beautiful “Happy Birthday” will be sung, and he’ll be surrounded by loved ones.

Tina Fey

Tina Fey is one of Hollywood’s leading actors, and has a long-established career as a writer, actor, comedian, and host. On May 18, she celebrates a milestone birthday, as she turns 50. Even though she’s a Hollywood star, she and her family spend most of their time in New York City.

She and her husband have owned a gorgeous, four bedroom apartment since 2009, when they paid $3.4 million for the Upper West Side unit. They more than doubled their real estate in 2016, when they bought the penthouse upstairs for an additional $9.5 million. It has four bedrooms, an amazing kitchen, two fireplaces, and lots of light with 22 windows. For the NYC-loving family, this is the perfect place to celebrate her big birthday.

Drew Carey

Turning 62 on May 23, Drew Carey will probably be grateful to turn a page and start with a clean slate, since he’s had a rough personal year. If anyone deserves a cheerful get together with friends, loved ones, and delicious food, it’s Drew. He might celebrate his birthday at his home in Los Angeles. We hope America’s favorite game show host will be able to smile and laugh on his birthday this year.

Bob Dylan is a legendary musician. The talented singer and writer turns 79 on May 24. He’s been on tour much of the last two decades, so it’s anyone’s guess where he’ll actually spend his birthday.

Hopefully he’s scheduled a break in the tour to relax for a few days and celebrate another trip around the sun. He’s lived in the same Malibu residence since 1979, when he bought his home for only $105,000. He has done extensive renovations to the estate, including installing a trampoline, swimming pool, basketball court, and even a small cabin with boat in the yard. These are just the outdoor amenities people can play with if they come over to have cake and ice cream with Bob on his birthday.

From his Trump Tower on New York City’s Fifth Avenue to his resorts in Florida, Trump knows how to live in style, and makes sure we all know it.

Trump Tower, New York

Occupying some of the city’s best real estate space in midtown Manhattan, Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue is a sky scraping monument to Trump’s ambition and dedication.

He worked for decades to acquire and build Trump Tower, which now serves as a multi-use building with retail, office and residential units, including Trump’s penthouse, company headquarters and headquarters for campaign activities for Donald Trump. Other famous residents have included Johnny Carson, Steven Spielberg, and Sophia Lauren.

Trump’s three-story penthouse filled with gilded detail, including gold leaf toilet seats, and Greek style columns as visual reminders of his success.

Boyhood Home in Jamaica Estates, New York

Trump grew up in a posh neighborhood in Queens, New York. In contrast to the melting pot reputation of the Queens Borough, the area of Jamaica Estates is very exclusive, with columned homes and manicured lawns.

The Georgian revival home was designed by Trump’s real estate developer father, with 23 rooms including nine bathrooms. It was here that Trump was taught the value of a dollar and the importance of hard work. He even had a paper route as a young boy.

Mar a Lago, Palm Beach, Florida

Originally a private residence, Trump bought the sprawling Mar a Lago estate in 1985 for $5 million, a bargain considering he had earlier offered $28 million.

He turned it into a high end resort, with one wing reserved for his family’s private residence. The decor is pure Trump, with $7 million in gold leaf, four gold encrusted toilets and expensive detailing throughout the estate.

Mar a Lago is one of the first clubs in Palm Beach Florida to have allowed Jewish, African American and gay members. Membership dues increased in 2017 from $100,000 to $200,000 annually. Trump often visits the resort, nicknaming it the “Winter White House”. He has even hosted official events including dinner with the President of China early in his presidency.

Seven Springs, New York

Trump bought the historical Westchester Seven Springs estate in 1995 with the intent to turn it into a golf course, but after years of struggling to obtain permits and rights, has largely abandoned the effort.

The property includes 220 acres covering three communities, as well as a 50,000 square foot mansion constructed by the first owner of the Washington Post, and a smaller residences including one constructed by J.J. Heinz, the founder of the Heinz ketchup fortune.

The Trumps use the mansion and other residences on the property in the summer and on weekends, and the estate has sentimental value to the children is it is where they were educated in real estate, construction and the family work ethic, and especially since it is where Eric Trump proposed to his now-wife.

White House

The most exclusive residence in the world, the White House, is now Donald Trump’s official residence, at least for the next year.

The White House has been the official residence of presidents since 1800, when John Adams moved in. The White House complex is not only a home but working office building, with the East Wing for visitors, the First Lady and her staff, the West Wing for official Presidential activities, and the Eisenhower Executive Office Building for additional office space for presidential and vice presidential staff.

While past presidents or their wives have occasionally undertaken renovation or restoration of the residence, there’s not word yet that Trump has attempted to leave his personal style of gilded ceilings, walls and toilet seats as a legacy in the White House.

When Thor, Iron Man and the Black Widow are done saving the world from intergalactic evil, the actors behind the excitement all come back to earth to prepare to save the world another day, to relax in style, and to get some shuteye, in some seriously awesome mansions around the world.

Robert Downey Jr./Tony Stark/Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr. has been in the acting industry all his life, and has been in the news just as long. After a stint in rehab for drug abuse, Downey restarted his career in the early 2000s, and starred as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel Universe’s first franchise success, Iron Man. This movie was wildly successful, and started the long-running franchise which is still going strong today.

Downey was in a buying mood in 2009, purchasing two homes in the Los Angeles area. This home in Los Angeles set him back about $5.5 million for the five bedroom, five bathroom contemporary structure.

This Malibu home with three bedrooms and four bathrooms cost nearly $13.5 million, according to records. It may only have three bedrooms, but it is amazing nonetheless and in the right area to hobnob with other celebrities.

In 2012, he bought another home in Los Angeles, for about $3.5 million; pocket change after his success as Tony Stark. He likely bought the house for his ex-wife Deborah Falconer, who lives there at least part time.

That’s not all, though. He bought this Los Angeles home in 2014, for a mere $2.5 million.

In addition to his properties in California, Downey has residences across the United States. He purchased this “cottage” in East Hampton, NY in 2017 for more than $10 million.

Scarlett Johansson/Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow

Scarlett Johansson has been part of the Marvel Universe since Iron Man 2, starring as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. She has been in Hollywood much longer, starring in both blockbuster movies and indie films.

Johansson has homes throughout California and the United States. She bought a home outside New York City, in Snedens Landing, NY in 2018 for about $4 million. The home overlooks the Palisades and has views of the water from every room. It also has a pool and cabana.

Since at least 2008, she has maintained a penthouse apartment on 53rd Street, near the Empire State Building. The 1,300 square foot apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a gorgeous chef’s kitchen.

Of course Johansson owns homes around Los Angeles; in December 2014 she and her husband bought this house for just under $4 million. The 3,500 square foot house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a pool to boot.

Chris Hemsworth/Thor

The handsome Aussie actor who constantly saves the galaxy as Thor owns homes literally around the world. Hemsworth and his wife bought a sprawling mansion in 2013.

The stunning 6,500 square foot home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a massive workout area, and of course, a pool. He and his wife put it on the market in 2016 when they moved to Australia. The asking price was $6.5 million, nearly two million more than they paid for it.

The family relocated to Byron Bay, an area in southeastern Australia famous for SCUBA diving, surfing and relaxing on the beach. Shortly after moving in, they undertook a major expansion and renovation, basically redoing the entire home. It now has at least six bedrooms, a gym, a steam room, a rooftop infinity pool and lots of designed outdoor living space.

Hemsworth needs a place in Los Angeles as he continues to reprise his role as Thor in the Avengers franchise. He bought a smaller Malibu home in 2016 for about $3.5 million dollars.

Chris Evans, aka Captain America, has a low key superhero attitude, and seems to be as chill in real life. In 2013, the world-saving American super soldier bought a home in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles. He dropped $3.25 million on a three bedroom, four bedroom house on Mulholland Drive. The house is behind a gate and high wall, keeping Thanos and curious visitors at bay.

Gwyneth Paltrow/Pepper Potts

Gyyneth Paltrow is Hollywood royalty, and doesn’t need a superpower to be a shining star in the Marvel Universe. The actress who stars as Pepper Potts in the Avengers franchise spends a lot of time in London, where she is raising her two children with her now-former husband, musician Chris Martin. Before their divorce, the couple lived in this gorgeous brown home in the tony Belsize area of London.

After her divorce, she bought a gorgeous home in 2016 in Los Angeles with the express intent to tear it down and rebuild on the same location. No matter what she does with the home, it’s sure to have amazing views of the hills and the ocean, and be aesthetically pleasing and architecturally stunning.

These awesome superstars have some of the coolest homes in the universe, which is fitting for intergalactic superheroes. In fact, we expect nothing less.

April is a great month; the weather is getting better and everyone is a little bit happier; those who are having a birthday will have an extra reason to smile this month.

Christopher Meloni made a name for himself as tough-as-nails Detective Stabler on Law and Order: SVU, a long-running gritty crime drama. But on April 2, he’s going to be all smiles as he celebrates his 59th birthday.

Even though he is a famous Hollywood actor, he and his family mainly reside on the East Coast. They’ve been reducing their real estate portfolio, but they might be celebrating his birthday at their weekend home in New Milford, Connecticut.

Alec Baldwin

If there’s Hollywood royalty, the Baldwin family is certainly part of it, and Alec Baldwin is nothing less than a prince. The oldest of the famous Baldwin brothers, Alec will be celebrating his 62nd birthday on April 3. A man who loves New York, he’ll probably be celebrating with his wife Hilaria and their four kids in their awesome New York apartment or their massive Hamptons estate.

Their city residence is a beautiful two-story unit in Greenwich Village that set them back almost $12 million. The 4,000 square foot home has two master bedroom suites, a great dining room for entertaining, and gorgeous windows to provide lots of natural light to the home.

Their Hamptons estate is a dream home for the family, and they spend plenty of time there. The 18th century home has been remodeled to meet the specific needs of the family, including a spacious kitchen and equal sized bedrooms for all the kids, to avoid potential jealousy.

Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe has had a hectic few months, culminating with his massive New South Wales estate being damaged by terrible wildfires, and dealing with unfair allegations of preferential treatment by firefighters saving his property. He has taken it all in stride, and hopefully he can focus on his blessings in the world as he celebrates turning 57 on April 7.

If he celebrates in Australia, he can still celebrate at his New South Wales estate, since the main residence was not damaged in the fires.

The New Zealand-born actor may also choose to spend his birthday at his beautiful waterfront Sydney property. The eleven-bedroom house is actually four units, with 30,000 square feet of living space.

His picture-perfect home with amazing views would be a great place to blow out 57 birthday candles!

Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore rose to fame as a young singer, capturing the hearts of America’s teenagers. She’s maintained her popularity, branching out into film and television acting. She currently stars in NBC’s This Is Us, a tearjerker drama in its 4th season, and has a new album out. She turns 36 on April 10, and the talented crooner will have a great celebration no matter what she’s up to.

Since 2018, Mandy has owned a gorgeous home in Pasadena, California, with her husband Taylor Goldsmith. They paid $2.56 million for the residence, which has a gorgeous kitchen with stunning views, a pool right outside the bedroom, and custom marble stones. It would be a perfect place to sing a birthday duet with her musician husband.

Barbra Streisand

While this Hollywood legend has made much of her career on Broadway, Barbra Streisand and her husband James Brolin have an amazing residence in Malibu, a $100 million waterfront estate that would make anyone swoon. It would be an amazing place to celebrate her 79th birthday on April 24.

The 10,500 square foot main house has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, a lovely outdoor pool and a cliff-side oceanfront view to die for. It also has not one but two guest houses on adjacent lots. She has owned the three lots since 1997, when she sold an equally breathtaking estate in the hills of Malibu.

Jerry Seinfeld

Made famous by his eponymous television show, Jerry Seinfeld is a household name, but we probably don’t know he’s having a birthday in April. Jerry is turning 66 on April 29, and with his $280 million fortune, he can afford to celebrate anywhere.

Maybe he’ll choose to take things easy and spend the day with his family at their sprawling East Hamptons estate that he bought from Billy Joel in 2000 for $32 million. The home has a 22-car garage to house just a fraction of Jerry’s car collection, as well as a manor house, multiple pools and even a baseball diamond.

He could also spend it in New York City, his professional home base. The Seinfeld family has a duplex in the famous Beresford apartment building. The unit set him back about $4.5 million, and is a great urban resting spot for the family of five.

Patricia Heaton is America’s favorite mom, and she’s having a birthday on March 4. She and her husband David Hunt split their time between Los Angeles and London.

She might be busy filming the first season of her new television show, Carol’s Second Act, so they might be celebrating in Toluca Lake, a celebrity-filled neighborhood of Los Angeles. Their $5.4 million home has a pool (of course), a spa room and other amenities fit for a celebrity birthday girl.

Rachel Weisz

It’s birthday week at the Craig-Weisz house! Just a few days after her husband blew out his birthday candles, it’s time for Rachel Weisz to blow out hers on March 7 for her 50th birthday.

She’ll probably be at the home she shares with Daniel Craig in London.

Laura Graham

The actress Lauren Graham has made a name for herself playing witty, fast-talking characters, but on March 16, she can sit back and let others do the talking, when they wish her a happy birthday! Lauren is turning 53, and her personal and professional lives are are all anyone could wish for, with a steady partner, Peter Kraus, and a new NBC show, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.

Lauren has long maintained a residence in Los Angeles, and since she recently sold her pad in New York, there’s a good chance she’ll celebrate her birthday here.

Kurt Russell

Kurt Russell has been a Hollywood star for nearly forty years, but his bright eyes and great smile will never get old. He has been with Goldie Hawn for almost as long as he’s been in movies.

The couple have multiple homes, including a 70 acre estate in Snowmass, Colorado, a place they’ve called their safe haven. What a place to celebrate his 69th birthday.

Matthew Broderick

Matthew Broderick may be turning 58 this March 21, but he still has his boyish good looks and charm that helped make him famous in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. He and his close-knit family could celebrate his birthday in any of their three homes.

The 7,500 square foot house is worth $5 million, (a pittance compared to her overall $100 million net worth) and has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and even a doggie mansion. A perfect place to party!

John Travolta

You know you’ve arrived when your house doesn’t include a two car garage, but two airplane hangers! John Travolta has certainly arrived.

He and his wife and family live in a special neighborhood designed as a ” residential airpark,” a place where residents can leave their house not by car but by airplane. Travota’s house has hangars for his airplanes literally in his driveway, which is unique even among wealthy celebrities.

When John turns 66 on February 18, maybe his birthday gifts will include a sixth airplane to store at his awesome Florida estate.

Kate Mara

Kate Mara has had a big year. In May 2019, she and her husband Jamie Bell had a baby girl, and closed on a house in Los Angeles. They paid $2.57 million, a few hundred thousand over asking price, for the 2,400 square foot house. Nearly a year later, the happy family will be singing happy birthday to Kate on February 27, and if she or her husband have work in the area, they’ll likely be singing at their cozy Los Feliz home.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney

The academy award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence met her now-husband  Cooke Maroney in 2018 through friends, and immediately felt a connection. Their relationship progressed quickly, and they were engaged in early 2019. The couple tied the knot in Belcourt Castle in Rhode Island, surrounded by about 150 of their closest friends and family.

Since Cooke works as an art gallerist in New York City, the couple spends plenty of time there, but when they’re in Los Angeles, they stay in Jennifer’s Beverly Hills house. She bought the house in 2014, for about $8 million.

The 5,000 square foot mansion was previously owned by Ellen DeGeneres and Jessica Simpson!

Dwaye “The Rock” Johnson and Laurie Hashian

Dwayne Johnson and Laurie Hashian have been a couple for more than a decade, and have two adorable little girls. They quietly tied the knot in August in Hawaii, in a very private and low-key affair.

The couple bought a 46 acre estate with a 15,000 square foot mansion just north of Atlanta, Georgia, in late 2019. That should be enough space for the family of four to live comfortably, since there are eight bedrooms, a large barn, a pool, and many amenities to keep them all comfortable and happy as they adjust to married life.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger

After eight years of marriage to Anna Faris, Chris Pratt got divorced in 2017. He started dating Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2018, and the couple got married on June 8, 2019. While Chris has a farm in Washington state that he loves to work on, the couple also reside in Los Angeles.

Chris bought a home in the Pacific Palisades area in 2019 for $15.6 million, only to commit to millions more in renovations before they can move in.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin

After leaping to fame, and making some wild choices along the way, Justin Bieber has settled down with his new wife Hailey Baldwin. The couple has known one another since 2015, but became a serious couple in 2018. They had an official wedding ceremony at Montage Palmetto Bluff, a beautiful resort in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Justin has a reputation for preferring to rent rather than own, but in 2018, he bought a 101 acre estate complete with a 9,000 square foot mansion in Waterloo, Ontario in Canada. It set him back nearly $7 million.

 

Not everyone had a banner 2019 in terms of romance. Let’s see who didn’t make it as a couple to ring in the new year.

Teresa and Joe Guidice

A mainstay in the reality show universe, Teresa Guidice and her husband Joe finally called it quits in late 2019. Their marriage was strained to the breaking point by their joint convictions for fraud. After his sentence, Joe was deported to Italy, where he has reportedly been seeing other women. While the girls traveled to Italy to see him for Christmas, Teresa stayed behind in New Jersey.

Their financial situation has already been in jeopardy, with their house in New Jersey being in foreclosure at one point, so it’s tough to predict what will happen to it now that the family is splitting up.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott

Kylie Jenner is no stranger to fame and drama, so it’s no surprise that she has a drama-filled love life. She began dating rapper Travis Scott in 2017, and the couple welcomed a baby girl in 2018.

They bought a house together for a mere $14 million in Beverly Hills. The 10,000 square foot mansion has a chef’s kitchen, massage room, wine cellar and home theater. The couple broke up in September 2019, and it’s expected that the house will go on the market.

Kylie won’t be without a mansion, don’t you worry! She still has her home base near her family in Hidden Hills, a 13,000 square foot spread with eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, home gym, theater, gourmet kitchen, and everything else the 21 year old billionaire could desire.

Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik

Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik got married in 2015, and had two children. However, in September 2019, the couple announced their separation. Their Manhattan Beach house went on the market, and while it sold for just over their purchase price, they lost money on the venture as they had invested a substantial amount in renovations and upgrades.

While she did recently get separated, sold her house at a loss, she is still very happy, as she has found new love with Jonathan Scott, one of the “Property Brothers”. The new couple seems to be doing well, as both Zooey and Jonathan can’t stop saying great things about their relationship.

If there’s one thing we can learn about these celebrity romances, it’s that you should love the one you’re with, while you’re with them because you never know what’s around the corner. That, and it’s always nice to have a mansion with all the amenities to help  you get over a bad breakup.

 

 

 

It’s that time of year again, when Hollywood royalty don their diamonds, designer dresses and dapper tuxedos to stroll down the red carpet and answer questions about who they’re wearing and who they think will win Best Picture.

The Academy Awards, often called the Oscars, are the most important awards in Hollywood. The winners for the 92nd Annual Academy Awards will be announced on Sunday, February 9, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Let’s look at some of this year’s nominees.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio has been Hollywood royalty for two decades now. This year he’s nominated for best lead actor for his performance in Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. Leo has won about 100 various awards, including an Oscar for best lead actor in 2016.

He has enough real estate to house them all, with homes throughout southern California, New York City, and even an entire island in Belize.

He owns side by side homes in the Hollywood Hills. One home he often rents to friends and celebrities for about $70,000 per month!

The other home he seems to visit more often, but since he owns so many, he doesn’t spend much time at any one location.

He does spend a lot of time in New York, and he owns a condo in the “green” Riverhouse Condominiums, which he purchased for $8 million.

Of course, he can jet to his private island in Belize whenever New York or LA aren’t cutting it for the superstar. Since 2015, he’s been constructing an eco-friendly resort hotel, but the final completion keeps being delayed.

Antonio Banderas

The Spanish heartthrob has been acting in movies since the 1980s, but this year he earned his first Academy Award nomination, for best lead actor in the movie Pain and Glory.

After his divorce from Melanie Griffith, he moved away from Hollywood, all the way to Cobham, in the United Kingdom. He lives with his girlfriend in a $3 million dollar home in the small village outside London, and he says he has found more happiness and focus there, which is more important than ever after his recent heart attack.

Anthony Hopkins

Anthony Hopkins has been acting for more than half a century, and has earned both critical and popular success. He’s so successful that the British actor was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 1993. He has been nominated five times and won one Oscar. This year, he’s been nominated for a best supporting actor for his work in The Two Popes, which was released on Netflix.

Anthony has spent much of his time recently in California. He has a home in Malibu; however, in early 2019, the home was in real danger of falling down a cliff as a result of erosion. The home next door wasn’t so lucky, and all that’s left is a pile of rubble.

Anthony bought a new residence in late 2018. Actually, he bought two homes right next to each other, paying $12.6 million total for the pair.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlet Johansson has had a banner year. Continuing to star in Avenger movies, she’s made bank. More importantly for her career, she’s been nominated for two Academy awards. She earned a nomination for best actress for her work in the film Marriage Story and best supporting actress for her work in Jojo Rabbit.

Born and raised in Manhattan, Scarlett has an affinity for New York. She has an apartment in the city, which she’s had since at least 2012.

In 2018, she bought a mansion in Palisades, New York, for about $4 million.

She has a home in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, which she bought in late 2014 for $3.9 million.

Laura Dern

Laura Dern has been a part of Hollywood since birth, being born into an acting family. She has been starring in films since 1985. She has several Golden Globe awards and other accolades. She has received three Academy Award nominations, the third one this year for best supporting actress in the film Marriage Story.

Laura and her husband live in Los Angeles in a home they bought in 2006 for about $5.5 million from actress Lori Laughlin. The 3,800 square foot home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Kathy Bates

Kathy Bates has been around Hollywood for decades, making a name for herself in Misery in 1990 and never looking back. She won an Oscar for this breakout role, and has been nominated multiple times for awards. This year, she has been nominated for best supporting actress for her work in Richard Jewell.

She has owned the same home in Los Angeles since 2001, when she bought the eight bedroom, four bathroom home for just under $3 million. It has a spa, sun room and plenty of room for another Oscar, should she win on February 9.

These are just a few of the nominees for this year’s Academy Awards, but if any of them win, we can be sure they’ll be finding room in one of their mansions for the newest member of their family: Oscar!

If there’s one person you associate with the Real Housewives brand, it’s probably Teresa Guidice. She’s feisty and smart, and holds nothing back.

Starring on Real Housewives of New Jersey since its inception in 2009, Teresa has written six books, been on Celebrity Apprentice and is regularly on the cover of newsstand magazines.

While she claims a net worth of $11 million, she and Joe have had significant legal and financial trouble. The couple were convicted on charges related to tax evasion, as well as mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. Teresa served 15 months in prison and Joe served 41. They have declared bankruptcy and had multiple homes foreclosed on.

Fortunately, in spite of the drama, the family still has their main home in Towaco, New Jersey. The six bedroom home was on the market for $3.99 million, but when they couldn’t find a buyer, they took if off the market and continue to live there.

Lisa Rinna

While Lisa Rinna wasn’t one of the first housewives on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she is one of the most popular. She has had a successful career on television, from acting on soap operas, to hosting Soap Talk to appearing on Dancing with the Stars. She has also written three books, and her net worth stands around $8 million! Unlike other stars on the show, Lisa has developed a fan following for her congenial nature, her ability to laugh at herself, and for coming across as friendly and approachable.

She lives with her husband in a mansion in, of course, Beverly Hills. She loves her “sanctuary” and regularly posts pictures of her home and garden on Instagram.

Lisa Vanderpump

An original Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Lisa Vanderpump spent nine seasons on the show before being given her own spinoff show, Vanderpump Rules.

While trained as an actress, Lisa and her husband earned their $75 million fortune by running and owning dozens of bars and restaurants in London and the LA area. Several have become LA hotspots, and one is featured on her new reality television show.

They bought a mansion in Beverly Hills in 2011 for around $10.2 million. The home, which they’ve named Villa Rosa, has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a two-story library, winery and massive master suite.

Kandi Burruss

Kandi Burrus is a famous African American singer and musician who joined Real Housewives of Atlanta in the second season. She has become a fan favorite, and has had multiple spinoff specials on Bravo. She is reportedly paid more than $2 million per season and her net worth is more than $35 million!

She had a few rough years with her personal life, but in 2014 she married Todd Tucker, and has been happily married since. Todd is featured in Kandi’s spinoff shows.

Their family lives in a 7,000 square foot mansion in Atlanta, which she bought in 2012 for about $500,000.

NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes was a Housewife on the Atlanta series from the start, and her bold, even brash personality has built her quite a following, of both fans and haters. She has developed a side career in acting and television, and has also published books tied to her success on Real Housewives. Her strong personality was on full display when she starred in season 11 of Celebrity Apprentice and walked off the show over a disagreement with a cast member.

NeNe is one of the best-paid Bravo personalities, making $2.85 million dollars for each season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her net worth is about $14 million. She used some of that money to buy a $2.1 million mansion in the Atlanta suburb Duluth in 2015, and has loved living in “Casa Lakes” ever since.

These women are outrageous, dramatic, and sometimes over the top. But their personalities have made them famous and wealthy, so let’s admit we’re not haters, we’re just jealous!
